To help assist our patients on their health journey, we provide on site Pathology, Podiatry, Physiotherapy, Dietetics and Counselling. The local area also has a number of pharmacies and dental clinics to assist our patients.
Our billing model changed to mixed billing from 14/11/2023. Children under 16 years of age, Pension / Concession card holders and DVA card holders are bulk billed for standard consultations. We bulk bill all Care plans, Health assessments and Telehealth consultations. Dr Sharma and Jane, our Nurse practitioner will continue to bulk bill all patients.
Located near the Foot Street intersection with Mortimer Road, there is ample nearby parking available for our patients. With bus routes running along Mortimer and nearby Beaudesert Road, we are perfect for patients from Rocklea, Pallara, Durack, Inala, Algester and Sunnybank Hills.

Consultation is by appointment – Urgent cases seen on the day. Appointments can be made by phoning the surgery or through Health Engine on line at www.healthengine.com.au A standard appointment is 15 minutes. If you require a longer appointment please inform staff when booking the appointment. We try and accommodate walk-ins.
Booking a long appointment – If you require any sort of medical, review of a complex health problem, counselling for emotional difficulties or a second opinion you will need to make sure you book a longer appointment. If more than one family member needs to see the doctor, ensure a separate appointment is made at the time of booking the appointment.
Time is valuable to us. Please notify us if you are unable to attend an appointment well in advance.
If you fail to attend appointments without warning or explanation this practice may not be able to offer you booked appointments.
Home visits are available for regular patients of this practice whose condition prevents them from attending the surgery and who live within a 5km radius of the practice.
When our clinic is closed please call the Hello Home Doctor Service on 134 100.

We have a DNA (Did not attend) policy in place whereby patients who fail to attend appointments will be charged a fee of $50.00 per appointment. It is your responsibility to be aware of your appointment details and to arrive on time or reschedule with sufficient notice. Patients who incur fees will be responsible for these fees. DNA fees are not medicare rebatable. Your health medical centre reserves the right to request full payment of fees before another appointment can be made.
Pre-employment, Insurance, Sports and Taxi Medicals are not covered by Medicare. Fees are available from reception staff. Please inform staff when making appointment.
